Vapor Point Vending (“we”, “us”) operates vaporpointvending.com and places vape vending machines in licensed establishments in British Columbia. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
The only information we ask for is what you enter into the application form:
When you submit the form we also automatically record the IP address and browser user-agent of the submission, and the date and time. We use these solely to detect and block automated spam.
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies on this site. The only cookie we set is a sign-in cookie on our own private admin pages, which the public site never uses.
We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We share it only where necessary:
Our hosting and database are located in the United States, which means your information may be stored or processed outside Canada and could be subject to lawful access requests in that jurisdiction.
If your application does not proceed, we keep it for up to 24 months in case you get back in touch, and then delete it. If you become a partner establishment, we keep your details for the life of the agreement and for 7 years afterwards, as required for business and tax records.
The site is served over HTTPS. Applications are stored in an access-controlled database, and our admin dashboard is password protected and not indexed by search engines. Only Vapor Point Vending personnel can see your application.

Email us and we will respond within 30 days, as PIPEDA requires. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
This site concerns a regulated vapour products business and is intended only for operators of licensed 19+ liquor-primary establishments. It is not directed at anyone under 19, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting information we already hold will be communicated to you directly.
